Metabarcoding & Metagenomics and Pensoft to support the 2025 AquaEcOmics meeting in Evian, France
The 2025 AquaEcOmics meeting will be held in Evian, France, from the 17th - 20th March 2025.
Described as "a meeting to explore aquatic ecosystems biodiversity, functioning and monitoring with eDNA and multi-Omics methods," the event will provide attendees with opportunities to connect with around 350 scientists and managers to discuss the use and development of these methods.
As supporters of the meeting, MBMG and Pensoft will sponsor the Best Talk and Best Poster awards, granting the winners a free publication in MBMG.
Abstract submissions are welcome until the 15th November 2024, and registration for the event ends on the 31st January 2025.
The 2025 AquaEcOmics meeting will host the following scientific sessions:
- Omics in aquatic ecosystems through participatory science
- Leveraging omics data to go beyond detections and towards eco-evolutionary insights
- Understanding aquatic ecosystems in an era of environmental change: from omics monitoring to forecasting
- Knowledge and technological gaps in omics: what are they and how can they be filled?
- Biodiversity monitoring and reporting: a stakeholder's perspective
- Understanding biotic interactions through the prism of omics techniques
- Integrating omics in macroecology to elucidate ecosystam patterns and processes
